Main Street Ozark Mission Statement

Emphasizing the Four Points of Main Street, Design, Organization, Promotions and Economic Restructuring, it is our mission to encourage the development, redevelopment, promotion, and improvement of the downtown area in Ozark, Arkansas through education and historic preservation.

What is the Main Street America Program?

The Main Street Program is a revitalization strategy used in over 1,200 cities and 40 states. Developed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s National Main Street Center, the program encourages imaginative use of business and government resources to support local downtown and neighborhood commercial district revitalization efforts. The Main Street approach is based on four points and relies on eight guiding principles to produce fundamental change in traditional commercial business districts.

In 2015, the Center launched a new program brand for the network of Main Street programs—Main Street America—to reinvigorate our collective look, feel, and strategy to position Main Street as a leader locally, regionally, and nationally.

Mums 1

Arts and crafts booths will open at 9:00 AM. Throughout the day there will be music, games, good food of all kinds, and free entertainment. Plan now to attend for a great time. Craftsmen from all over Arkansas and other states will be on hand to display and sell their wares and enjoy a day of good fun and fellowship.

Booth space is now available. All proceeds from your booth will be retained by you or your group. Rental for booth space is used to promote, advertise, and provide necessary facilities for the festival.

Each group or individual must provide their own booth or stand, tables, canopies, etc.

Each vendor is responsible for collecting and reporting state sales tax.

Booth spaces should be set up and occupied prior to 9:00 AM on Saturday October 14, 2017. No vehicles will be permitted within festival grounds between 9:00 Am and 5:00 PM. We prefer merchandise that is handmade or made in America and the use Hillbilly names for your booths and food items when possible.
